✧"The deposits here have been known as a source of fine fluorite specimens since 1892, and are located on a steep, brushy hillside of decomposed granite hosting numerous subparallel fluorite-bearing veins. The larger crystals generally show octahedral and cube face development, frequently occurring as individuals and small groups on a druzy quartz matrix... Most of the fluorites recovered are green in color, although some blue & purple crystals have been found."

The Felix Mine is now defunct. It's located in a residential foothill & mining at this location is no longer allowed.

✧Q: green-purple color; small amount of fluorite; druzy quartz

✧R: single green octahedron on a bed of druzy quartz; shaped like a teardrop

✧S: classic green color; small fluorite octahedrons; druzy quartz

✧T: pink color (rare color from this location!)

✧U: classic green color; small fluorite octahedrons; druzy quartz

✧V: blue-green color

✧W: green-purple color (looks grayish); druzy quartz
